before we proceed any further, i must make my beliefs clear. as a devout christian, i strongly believe in the biblical roles of men and women. i do not believe that women should hold positions of authority over men in the workplace, and i do not condone any lifestyle that goes against traditional gender norms.

if these views conflict with your values or policies, then i understand if we cannot move forward with being friends or lovers. but if you are willing to work with me despite our differences, then i am eager to discuss further.
